Bunnahabhain Signatory Cask Strength 2001 10YO

Without water this is too overpowering - it's a bit of a nasal burner. So all notes are with water... A buttery nose with cinder toffee. Peatier than average for Bunna, (which still means not particularly peaty). I also get a hint of spicy ginger. It gradually mellows after a few minutes and now I can detect dark fruit with a touch of cake icing....
