Glenfarclas 25 Year Old

Nose: Breathe deep. This is gorgeous and not at all harmed by the drop of alcohol, which is very consistent. Lots of sherry, which is the key note, then marmalade. It's a lovely wee experience. Mouth: Loads to do. Zesty but delicate, ginger, chirstmasy somehow, slightly bitter chocolate, a little burnt maybe? Sherry. It's a lot of fun....

Nose: Rich and really fantastic. Heavily on chocolate with a very dry, bourbony quality. Slight rubber and a bit of a funky red-fruit sherried quality shining through it. Faint vanilla. Some people have said that there's a cherry-flavored cough syrup note, and I don't think that they're wrong. Lots of ridiculously heavy dark sherried whisky...

Another one for the wishlist, while Farclas is superbly priced, i dont think (as a student) ill be affording it for a while. O well, its motivation i suppose * Nose: a very dense liquid, not easy to pick things out at first, needs some time in the glass, old leather armchairs, walnuts, plenty of wood and chocolate raisins, some coffee burnt sugar...
