Jura is one of the more distinctive island distilleries in Scotch whisky, with origins dating back to 1810 and a modern revival in 1963, when the distillery was rebuilt to help sustain life on the island. Produced by Whyte & Mackay, the whisky has long been recognised for a softer, more accessible style than many heavily peated island malts, with a house character defined by ripe fruit, gentle spice, honeyed sweetness and carefully balanced oak.
