This would be the ideal ladies malt, or an introduction to someone who is new to whisky. The Royal Lochnager 12yo is very delicate, its a simple sweet, honey-ed malt with a very refined long lasting sweet-smokey aftertaste....

Royal Lochnagar Milroy’s Royal Lochnagar 2002, Aged 10 Years, Jubilee Bottling

Nose: Fresh, with some dough and lemony notes, vanilla and apple peel, lemon grass and fresh cut grass too. Palate: a bit of pepper up front, then malty vanilla and wood, with some hints of apple, and getting dry and bitter towards the end. Finish : bitter, with oak, burnt sugar and lost memories of baked apple.
