This is the first Glenrothes to be bottled by the Dutch label Archives. It was distilled on 6 June 1988 and bottled on 4 January 2012. It is very pale, indicating a rather inactive ex sherry cask. The nose is immediately very sweet. Clear hint of white chocolate. Caramelized white fruit (like the red coating apples you buy at fancy fairs)....
