Firstly thanks to @Timp for providing me with a sample of this whisky. I've had a bottle of the 10 in the past and enjoyed it. So the 15 has been on my 'need to try' list for a while. Nose Quite fragrant with subtle fruits Jasmine flowers, peaches, rosewood, a slight hint of oranges. A suggestion of oak on the nose too. Palate A fruity arrival....

Bottle has been open about 3 months. About a quarter left. This is a very pale whisky. Natural colour. No chill filtration and bottled at 46%. So all the good stuff. Nose Quite solventy. Cut grass. Glencadam 12 Year Old Portwood Finish

Tonight's really about the Glenfarclas (and the haggis), but for now we started with a new entry for us. Colour reddish brown (no added colour they say). Very smooth, with a hint of vanilla and wood spice. First taste is a light spice with some heat. Finish is short and soft. Overall a surprisingly enjoyable start.
