Dallas Dhu 1979 Gordon & Macphail

This Speyside whisky was distilled by Dallas Dhu in 1979. Bottled and released by Gordon & Macphail this is a good example of an indie bottling of Dallas Dhu. The bottling strength of this whisky is 40% which is at the lower end of the scale for whiskies. Although these days many consumers are pushing for producers to bottle closer to 43% or 46% there are still some fine lower strength whiskies. Read more
