Not subtle or especially complex but very enjoyable. A real bruiser of a malt with no punches pulled. Nose: Smoked malt, barley, cereals and peat. Taste: Rich malty flavours with smoke balanced by sherry sweetness. Very robust whisky full bodied. Finish: Long dryer finish in which the smoke and sherry notes linger underpinned by peat
