Morris of Rutherglen, Victoria in the south eastern corner of Australia have been making wine since 1859. The winery installed a still in 1941 to be used in the production of fortified wine but it had laid dormant for decades until 2016 when the Morris family, who run the winery, decided to make a foray into whisky production. Under the watchful eye of Head Distiller, Darren Peck, the company now produces some fine Australian Single Malts.
